Beginning this afternoon, Fourth Street traffic between Bristol Place and Mickelson Pond will be restricted while the City installs new curb and gutter and a storm sewer catch basin. The traffic restriction will remain in place until work is completed. The City expects to have the project finished by Friday, Oct. 13.
The restriction will be signed. Motorists should anticipate slow-moving traffic throughout the project.
The curb and gutter and storm sewer catch basin are being installed to improve storm water drainage and to prevent soil erosion in the Fourth Street area.
