The City of Pierre operates a regional landfill that services seven counties. All the waste processed at Pierre’s Solid Waste Facility is transferred to the regional landfill located east of Pierre.
Customers must be pre-authorized to use the scale at the landfill. All landfill customers must have an established charge account with the Solid Waste Facility.
