The City of Pierre Native Plant Arboretum and Nature Area located at 1200 Izaak Walton Road will be on display October 7th. The Arbor Board will host public tours, children activities and hand out there new informational brochure. All activities begin at 5:30 PM. The public is encouraged to attend, bring their children and enjoy fall colors and educational activities.
The Arboretum features 45 stations showcasing the variety of trees and shrubs native to this area. The Arboretum portion of the Nature area covers approximately 4 acres of the 24 acre area.
