PIERRE, S.D. –The intersection of North Poplar Avenue and West Fifth Street will close Thursday, March 24 for utility work.
The intersection, located at the northwest corner of the Jefferson Elementary School campus, will close about 8:15 tomorrow morning and will remain closed through Friday, March 25 while crews work to repair and replace the storm water inlets and piping.
Traffic is encouraged to use an alternate route until construction is complete.
