Amazon Prime’s adventure series Fireball Run is coming to Pierre this weekend. To accommodate the contestants, production crew, and community activities, numerous streets will be closed.
FRIDAY: PIERRE STREET
Pierre Street will be closed from Sioux Avenue to Missouri Avenue from 5:30 Friday morning until 6:30 Friday evening. Cross traffic will be allowed on Dakota Avenue until 1 p.m.
Pierre Street is the site of the Fireball Run Finish Line event and will remain open to pedestrian traffic throughout the entire day.
FRIDAY: DAKOTA AVENUE
Dakota Avenue will be closed from the alley located just east of Bob’s Lounge to the alley located just east of Mad Mary’s Steakhouse from 1 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Friday. No parking will be allowed on this stretch of Dakota Avenue between 6 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
FRIDAY NIGHT: PIERRE STREET
The Pierre Street closure will continue from 6:30 p.m. on Friday until 2 a.m. on Saturday for a street dance hosted by the Longbranch.
SATURDAY: BROADWAY AVENUE
Between 6 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Broadway Avenue will be closed from South Dakota Boulevard to Governor’s Drive. This is the site of the Fireball Run Starting Line event. The area will remain open to pedestrian traffic throughout the event.
