[ARCHIVED] Fourth Street: One-way Traffic

4TH STREET

Tomorrow afternoon, Fourth Street traffic between Bristol Place and Mickelson Pond will be reduced to one lane while heavy construction equipment is staged in the area.

The lane reduction will cause one-way only traffic. The traffic will be controlled by flaggers. The one-lane only operations are expected to last for about an hour between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday.

Once the heavy machinery is staged, the one-way traffic restriction will be lifted. However, motorists should continue to anticipate slow-moving traffic on Fourth Street.

The City is installing new curb and gutter and a storm sewer catch basin along Fourth Street to improve storm water drainage and to prevent soil erosion.
