Pierre PD Opens to Walk-in Traffic
PIERRE, SD – The Pierre Police Department will reopen its lobby located at the Solem Public Safety Center at 8 a.m. Wednesday, June 3. The lobby closed to walk-in traffic in March as a COVID 19 social distancing tactic.
Also, on Wednesday, the Police Department will resume fingerprinting services. The services are available by appointment only. To set up a fingerprint appointment, call 773.7413.
The Police Department will continue to exercise other social distancing tactics including collecting additional call for service information over the phone, maintaining space between officers and citizens when possible, and use of personal protective equipment.
