Weather permitting, S. Pierre Street, between Dakota and Missouri Avenues, will close at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8 for street work. That block of S. Pierre Street is expected to reopen by 7 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 9.
The closure will allow the City to seal the recently resurfaced block of street.
Sealing is a preservation tactic used to mitigate weather-related damage and extend the life of street surfaces. The City maintains more than 80 miles of streets.
