Street Closure: Central Ave.
Weather permitting, a portion of Central Ave. will close next week for storm sewer work.
Central Ave., from Missouri Ave. north to the mid-block alley, will close to through traffic from Monday, Aug. 9 through Friday, Aug. 13.
Storm sewers allow rain and other water runoff to convey off the street surface. This helps prevent localized flooding, allows for proper disposal of water, and helps preserve street surfaces.
